From The Trude Forsher Collection.
During production of most of Elvis Presley’s films, Colonel Tom Parker created wonderfully garish custom coats covered in promotional messages about the movie. The offered 8 by 10 photo captures Trude Forsher and a man both wearing the coat created by the Colonel for Elvis’ 1960 film G.I. Blues. The scene in the photo is a birthday party for Colonel Parker based on the cake’s snowman theme and the icing, which reads “Happy Birthday Chief Snowman.” The photo is inscribed and signed “To Trude from The Col.” and measures 8 by 10 inches (20.32 x 25.4 cm). Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The photo is free of defects. Near Mint to Mint condition.
