1975 saw Elvis with three engagements in Las Vegas in February through April, August and December for his Holiday Jubilee. Elvis was also on the road for three tours this year with the first, a two-week tour, starting April 24 in Georgia and ending on May 7 in Tennessee. The May 5th performance was a special benefit concert that raised $100,000 for the victims of the McComb, Mississippi tornado that had occurred earlier that year. This was followed by the second tour starting in Alabama on May 30 and finishing June 10 in Memphis for this 12-day tour. The final road tour began on July 8 in Oklahoma and ended in Asheville, North Carolina on July 24. However, these engagements were not the last for Elvis in 1975 as the Colonel added a New Year’s performance in Pontiac, Michigan to round out the year. Offered is a binder used by Colonel Parker to track and record the schedule and advertisements for these first three tours of the busy 1975 year. The binder includes six tour documents and schedules and 42 “SOLD OUT!” advertisements that were placed in local newspapers in the tour cities. The Colonel was always conscious of the benefits of promoting sold-out shows to bolster the image of Elvis’ continuing popularity. The binder measures 11 1/2 by 10 by 1 inch (29.21 x 25.4 x 2.54 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The binder and its documents present with few defects and most ads have been stapled into the binder pages. Near Mint condition.
