December 2-12, 1976 was Elvis’ 15th “season” performing at the Las Vegas Hilton and would end up being his last set of concerts in the legendary theater of the former International Hotel. Elvis performed 15 shows for this engagement and while reviews over the performances vary, Elvis started out strong, and with Ginger Alden in the audience on the opening night, each tune was belted with purpose. Elvis’ magic and charm were on full display as he began his pre-holiday Jubilee in full control, giving the audience exactly what they came to see and hear. This is one of only two performances, the other on Sunday, December 5 when he suffers from an injured ankle, during which Elvis is wearing his 1974 Arabian/King of Spades jumpsuit along with the V-neck belt. These beginning shows are considered the best of the entire engagement that season. Offered are seven (7) original Kodak Ektachrome slides capturing Elvis in fine form in this iconic jumpsuit. The slide holders have been hand numbered and date stamped during processing with “DEC 76.” This combination of Elvis Presley wearing his 1974 Arabian/King of Spades jumpsuit and the band in their white suits was employed twice during the December 1976 concerts at the Las Vegas Hilton. Each slide measures 2 by 2 inches (5.08 x 5.08 cm), and the group is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The slides present with few defects. Near Mint condition.
