In 1976, Elvis was on the road for nine tours as well as performances in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas. Late August found him beginning a tour in San Antonio, Texas on the 27th and moving through Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and ending in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on September 8, 1976. On August 30, Elvis took the stage in his “Blue Egyptian Bird” jumpsuit at the University of Alabama Memorial Coliseum in Tuscaloosa. Over 16,000 fans of every shape and size filled the Coliseum to see the show and when Elvis stepped on the stage flashbulbs ignited like a fireworks display. Offered are nine color slides, each featuring Elvis in his glory, performing in the spotlight as he smiles, sings, dances and proves that he is the ultimate entertainer. Each slide contains a personalized label of a prior owner and an “Aug 76” date printed in red on the front. The slides are hand numbered in the upper right corner on the front “1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 13, 16, 17, 24” respectively. Each bold color image and white framed slide measures 2 by 2 inches (5.08 x 5.08 cm) and the group is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Each slide is in excellent condition overall with address labels on the reverse of seven and an address stamp for which the address has been marked out on the additional two. Each contains handwritten numbers on the front and back.
