The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was one of the most photographed entertainers of all time. With a career that encompassed the stage, screen and turntable, Elvis was a fan favorite throughout his career, so it’s no surprise that his image graced the pages of scrapbooks, magazines and newspapers worldwide. His image was captured by professional and novice photographers alike. The offered grouping of five (5) negatives and color transparencies is a sampling of the wide range of pictures taken of this mega-entertainer. The collection includes:

  • One (1) Kodak Ektachrome camera transparency from August 1970 measuring 2 3/4 by 2 3/4 inches (6.98 x 6.98 cm). The mount is embossed with the Aug. 70 development date;
  • One (1) Kodak Safety Film original publicity shot from 1968 measuring 4 by 5 inches (10.16 x 12.7 cm);
  • One (1) Kodak Safety Film color camera image of Elvis on the Graceland grounds circa 1960 measuring 2 1/4 by 2 1/4 inches (5.71 x 5.71 cm);
  • One (1) Ektachrome 35mm color from the L.A. Forum circa 1970 measuring 1 1/2 by 1 3/8 inches (3.81 x 3.49 cm);
  • One (1) Kodak Safety Film color paparazzi shot from September 1970 measuring 5 by 7 inches (12.7 x 17.78 cm).

The grouping captures the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in various stages, costumes and periods of his extensive career. The collection is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Each is in very good condition overall with typical signs of age and wear.
