Elvis performed four shows during three days at the Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York (Long Island), on June 22 through 24, 1973. The shows during this period opened to the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey and it was about halfway through one of these shows that so many fans were tossing undergarments on stage that Elvis made the jovial remark, “There’s going to be a lot of naked people out there soon!” And while fans were still in full adoration of their idol, Elvis’ concert review in The New York Times was lukewarm, as it described the star as, “Elvis Presley, onstage in 1973, is the old rock revolution made respectable, the machinery taken over, the appearance and posture counting as much as the music. Presley at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island Saturday was safe as milk.” Nonetheless, the audience still screamed, clapped and cheered as evident in the offered thirty-one (31) original Kodak prints all of Elvis taken from a distance at the concert that day. Clad in his Egyptian Pharaoh jumpsuit with yellow-lined cape and kick pleats, Elvis sand with spirited enthusiasm on stage. The original prints also come with forty (40) original negatives (on 10 strips) and a ticket stub, measuring 1 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches (3.81 x 4.44 cm), from that June 22, 1973 Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum concert, and two laminated news articles about the concert. The images, capturing the King in all his glory, each measure 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches (8.89 x 8.89 cm) and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The photos and ticket stub are in Excellent condition overall.
