This round record-shaped RCA promotional sign is befitting the massive popularity of Elvis' records and concerts. The round cardboard disc advertises “ELVIS NOW" on one side in bright pink and yellow and " ELVIS SUMMER FESTIVAL” in Day-Glo orange and yellow with the Hilton logo flanking the sides around the center circle stating "Hear Elvis on RCA Records & Tapes." Displays such as this were used during the 1970s Summer Festival Concert Series at the Las Vegas Hilton and were intended to hang from the ceiling, so both sides contained promotional printing. Elvis dominated the Las Vegas concert scene in the 1970s, after relaunching his performing career with his first engagement at the then-Las Vegas International Hotel in 1969. Those shows set a record for both attendance and gross tickets sales and paved the way for the Colonel to negotiate a 5-year deal for engagements at the hotel. This eye-popping hanger display piece measures 21 inches (53.34 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The hanger presents with expected scuffing, very common in these pieces, and one large crease at the top. Otherwise the colors are bright and bold. Excellent condition.
