The offered pair of Australian daybill movie posters from Elvis’ documentaries in the 1970s mimic the design of the U.S. one sheets with a photographic image of Elvis on the Elvis: That’s The Way It Is (1970) poster and a more vibrant, psychedelic composition of the Elvis On Tour (1972) poster. Elvis: That’s The Way It Is was the documentary film that chronicled Elvis’ summer festival in Las Vegas during August 1970. The movie was Elvis’ first non-acting role since the beginning of his film career in 1956 and reveals the musician’s renewed focus on his live performances. The follow up to Elvis: That’s the Way It Is, Elvis on Tour captures performances from four different concerts during 1972 and utilizes vintage footage from Elvis’ early TV appearances. The on-stage scenes captured an artist in complete command of his form, with Elvis at the peak of his singing and onstage abilities. The offered pair of Australian daybills would make an ideal addition to any important Elvis poster collection. The posters measure 30 by 13 inches (76.2 x 33.02 cm), are stored folded and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The posters exhibit just a few small pinholes and the original factory folds. Few other defects. Near Mint condition.
