This Belgian poster promoted Elvis Presley’s 1967 film Double Trouble. Part of the film’s action actually takes place in Antwerp, which may have helped to create a special connection for Belgian fans. The offered poster presents unique, colorful illustrated artwork featuring Elvis and co-star Annette Day, who portrays heiress Jill Conway to Elvis’ Guy Lambert. As is common on Belgian posters, the title of the film is presented in English, French and Dutch to accommodate the various languages spoken in the Belgian marketplace. Importantly for collectors, the phrase “Imprimé en Belgique” appears printed on the lower left of the bottom border—later Belgian reprints often have these phrases printed in English. The poster is stored folded, measures 14 by 22 inches (35.56 x 55.88 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The poster exhibits few defects, just a few areas of light wrinkling. Excellent to Mint condition.
