Paradise, Hawaiian Style was released by Paramount Pictures in June 1966, reaching number 40 on the Variety box office charts and achieving over $2.5 million at the box office. Directed by Michael D. Moore, who was an assistant director on six previous Elvis films, Paradise, Hawaiian Style was Elvis’ 21st movie and was filmed on location on the picturesque island, resulting in breathtaking footage and stunning visuals. The offered colorful window card artwork depicts Elvis surrounded by beauties in the forefront of an island and blue waters. The window card proclaims “All Elvis breaks loose in the Swinging Swaying Luau-ing South Seas!,” and the aqua blue background and bold colors create a strong impression, inviting movie goers to watch the island escapades. The top area of the window card, typically used to announce location show times and dates, remains blank on this splashy example. The window card, measuring 22 by 14 inches (55.88 x 35.56 cm), is stored flat and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits even age-related toning, with one area of paper loss in the top, blank area. The area of paper loss has been improved by minor professional restoration, though no paper was replaced. The colors are bright and bold. Excellent condition.
