The offered Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer 78 RPM single-sided acetate contains the song “Never Say Yes” recorded on February 17, 1966, for the Elvis Presley film soundtrack Spinout, which would be released on October 31, 1966. The song was recorded during the soundtrack sessions at Radio Recorders Studio B in Hollywood, California. In addition to the song title, the handwritten acetate label indicates this song is from production “1845,” which is Spinout, and was struck on March 16, 1966. In the 22nd movie of his film career, Elvis plays the role of Mike McCoy, part-time lead singer in a band and part-time race car driver, who finds himself on the receiving end of the adoration of three women. Spinout, directed by Norman Taurog and released by MGM in October 1966, grossed more than $3 million at the box office and reached #57 on the year-end list of top grossing films. The acetate disc is contained in the original Audiodiscs sleeve, measures approximately 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The acetate presents in playable condition, with only a few minor distresses. Excellent to Mint condition.
