Tickle Me, a musical comedy starring Elvis as a rodeo bull-rider, was a fan favorite and a box office hit that saved the studio, Allied Artist Pictures, from bankruptcy. Half a million dollars alone was made from the merchandising of feathers and pens while the film itself realized well over $3 million in domestic sales. Elvis won a Golden Laurel Award in 1966 for best male actor in this musical film and took home over a million and a half in compensation for this single movie alone. The offered more unusual military-issue poster features images of Elvis with his female lead Jocelyn Lane and two additional images of his co-star in varying poses and costume. The style is a departure from the typical artwork used in the National Screen Service-issued posters, and further differs as this military issue was duotone (two-color) rather than full-color to reduce the expense. These duotone posters were typically produced for film distribution specific to the military. This one-sheet, military-issue, duotone poster measures 41 by 27 inches (104.4 x 68.58 cm), has been stored folded and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits age-related toning as well as larger areas of water staining in the upper right and lower right. There are minor separations at the intersections of the factory folds, as well as edge wear and corner wear. Excellent condition.
