With the images of Elvis astride a motorcycle with a girl, playing his guitar and mixing it up with some carnies, this one-sheet military issue poster promotes the 1964 release of Roustabout, starring Elvis with Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Freeman and Leif Erickson. In this Paramount Pictures film released in November 1964, Elvis plays the role of Charlie Rogers, a musician who, after a mishap on his motorcycle, joins a struggling traveling carnival. The poster makes the declaration that our hero is a “Roving, Restless, Reckless Roustabout,” and we see the simple two color print style that was used on military issued posters as a cost saving measure. The strong image remains central to the attraction for fans old and young to see what was happening under the big top. This one-sheet, military issue poster measures 41 by 27 inches (104.4 x 68.58 cm), has been stored folded and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster presents with few defects. Near Mint condition.
