Set at the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, It Happened at the World’s Fair tells the story of crop duster Mike Edwards (Elvis) searching for love and adventure while trying to get his plane out of hock thanks to his partner’s gambling debts. The film co-starred love interest Joan O’Brien, Gary Lockwood, Vicky Tiu as the little girl lost at the fair, and an uncredited appearance and film debut by a young Kurt Russell (who is featured in the scene as the boy kicking Elvis in the shin). The film, directed by Norman Taurog, was distributed by MGM and grossed over $2 million at the box office. The offered British quad, produced to promote the 1963 MGM production, boasts strong, vibrant hues of yellow and red with a large image of Elvis and his guitar “SINGIN’” AND “SWINGIN’.” The quad poster measures 30 by 40 inches (76.2 x 101.6 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits moderate to heavy staining along the edges, edge wear and several small areas of chipping along the edge. Very Good condition overall.
