A remake of the original 1937 film, Kid Galahad starred Elvis Presley and was released by United Artists in August 1962. Kid Galahad is the story of Walter Gulick, a mechanic and two-bit boxer who gets into fighting for the money and wins all his bouts plus the heart of the girl he admires. Produced by Mirisch Company and distributed by United Artists in August 1962, Kid Galahad reached number nine at the box office, with the LP soundtrack of six songs issued to coincide with the film’s release. The offered one-sheet movie poster touts “Elvis Packs The Screen’s Biggest Wallop...With The Gals...With The Gloves...With The Guitar!” in the top blue banner, while each of these themes is depicted in a full-color representation on the poster’s center panel. This fine example from one of Elvis’ most beloved films, promotes all that is Elvis, showing him in a romantic pose with his female co-star (in this case Joan Blackman); strumming his guitar (to make sure that no one misses that this isn’t just a boxing picture); and wearing boxing shorts and gloves. The poster measures 41 by 27 inches (104.14 x 68.58 cm), is stored rolled and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits only mild, even wrinkling and a few minor stains. Excellent to Mint condition.
