A remake of the original 1937 film, Kid Galahad stars Elvis Presley as Walter Gulick, a broke young man recently discharged from the Army who takes up boxing to earn a living. Produced by the Mirisch Company and distributed by United Artists in August 1962, Kid Galahad reached number nine at the box office, with the LP soundtrack of six songs issued to coincide with the film’s release. The style is a departure from the typical artwork used in the National Screen Service-issued posters, and further differs as this military issue was duotone (two-color) rather than full-color to reduce the expense. These duotone posters were typically produced for film distribution specific to the military. This one-sheet, military-issue, duotone poster measures 41 by 27 inches (104.4 x 68.58 cm), has been stored folded and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits minor wear, especially at the intersections of the original factory folds. Excellent condition.
