The offered record with four radio commercials was produced by United Artists to promote Elvis Presley's 1962 film Follow that Dream. The commercials come in four lengths, 60, 30, 20 and 10 seconds, and tout the film as “a dream of a motion picture.” I guess the promo guys worked all day on that line. As the label indicates by describing these ads as “Music Radio Spot Announcements,” the ads themselves focus on the songs Elvis sings in the picture. The following lot offers an acetate with several ads that focus more on the comedic nature of the film. These “Radio Spot” LPs are very tough to find, as most of them were not archived by radio stations, but simply destroyed after the film's run. Interestingly, the record is a heavier, thicker vinyl and has a blank back embossed with a period pattern. The record measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated. Condition: NM with only minor defects. Playable condition.
