The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service was established in 1942 by the War Department to broadcast popular American radio and television to troops, government employees and families stationed overseas. It is still in operation today under the name American Forces Network, and over the years many stars have rallied to support U.S. efforts abroad. The offered oversized 16-inch LP with green and white label reads, “Armed Forces Radio & Television Service Station Library.” Side one includes Elvis Presley's 1960 single “It's Now or Never” and its B-side “A Mess of Blues,” which were released together on July 5, 1960. Other artists featured on the LP include Connie Stevens, Brian Hyland, The Browns, Ferrante and Teicher, Julie London, The Four Lads and Jerry Byrd. The date “8-2-60” is etched into the dead wax of the record. The record measures 16 inches (40.65 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Condition: VG+ with only minor defects. Playable condition.
