“That’s When Your Heartaches Begin” was first recorded by Elvis in July 1953 and then during an official recording session in January 1957 that was released by RCA in March 1957. This framed RCA Victor award dedicated to Colonel Parker contains a platinum-colored record mounted on green velvet above a plaque that reads “To Col. Tom Parker in appreciation of his contribution toward making ‘That’s When Your Heartaches Begin’ a Million Seller 1957.” The award measures 16 by 14 inches (40.64 by 35.56 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The silver frame shows signs of wear related to display and storage, including several scuffs and scratches, while the interior green felt remains clean. The record exhibits a golden patina along the edges, perhaps from oxidation of the coating applied to create the platinum effect. Excellent condition.
