In the early 1950s the pressing of records was not an exact science creating some defective pressings in the process. Plastic Products, Inc of Memphis, Tennessee would recycle any returned, unused pressings from Sun records for whom they pressed records including the most highly collectible, first pressings for the new star Elvis Presley. When RCA Victor purchased the master records from Sun in November 1955, these original Elvis Sun 45s became very desirable. Elvis’ second single release with Sun Records, “Good Rockin’ Tonight/I Don’t Care if the Sun Don’t Shine” was labeled as Sun 210 and was released in 1954. Originally written by Roy Brown in 1947, "Good Rockin' Tonight" was Elvis second single release with Sun Records.  The offered released Sun single 45 rpm record contains a marked through, hand-written number of 6104 in marker on the side of the label and a similar handwritten number 6063 on the reverse label. The 45 measures 6 3/4 inches (17.14 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The record presents in beautifully clean condition. Only the markings on the otherwise perfect labels keep this offering from a Near Mint designation. Excellent condition.
